VI. Regarding Dogs and Transportation Services
Many guests wish to bring their well-behavied dogs with them to the wine country or on other tours. While this practice is not encouraged, it is allowable if the owner agrees to the following:
* The dog owner is responsible for the animal at all times.
* The dog must be well-behaved and under voice control.
* The dog owner agrees to pay for interior auto detailing for any incidents of defecation, vomiting or excessive hair. The dog owner agrees to pay for repair to damage related to a dog scratching or chewing inside the vehicle.
* The dog owner is responsible for determining policies related to dogs at all vineyards, restaurants or other stops, and will endeavor to select establishments which are pet-friendly. There will be additional charges in the amount of $25 / hour for each dog left with the driver, and the guest will waive all liabilities associated with dogs left with the car. The driver is not a pet sitter and will not be held responsible for a dog who escapes, misbehaves or becomes agressive to any people or dogs.
VII. Regarding Persons with Disabilities
Often times a guest requires additional help getting into and out of the vehicle. The guest and their companions will be responsible for managing ramps and /or wheelchair equipment. The driver is not to be held responsible for any injuries due to improper handling of these specialty items.
VII. Inherent Risks
The San Francisco Bay Area is a major metropolitan area, and along with the beauty and culture, unfortunately, comes risk. The driver of the vehicle cannot be held responsible for random acts of theft or violence that can occur in an urban area. Our transportation providers are excellent drivers and navigators, but they are not security guards, so pleasae take care when loading and unlaoding your items into the vehicle.
